Jingke Energy has made the latest response to the recent fire accident in its subsidiary through an announcement.
On the evening of April 28th, Jingke Energy issued a notice about the fire accident in its wholly-owned subsidiary, saying that around 15:00 on April 26th, a fire broke out on the roof of the first phase of the slice battery workshop of Shanxi Jingke Energy II Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
After the accident, Jingke Energy immediately launched an emergency plan, quickly took measures to evacuate people, and fully cooperated with the local fire department to carry out on-site fire fighting and rescue. Under the rescue of local fire emergency departments, the relevant fire has been brought under control and put out. At present, the specific cause of the fire accident is under investigation and verification.
Jingke Energy announcement said that the accident caused no casualties, the accident site plant, equipment, inventory to a certain extent damaged, the specific losses are being verified and assessed, it is initially expected to have a certain impact on the annual performance in 2024.
Jingke Energy further said that the company's damaged assets have been insured against property insurance and have been reported to the insurance company, and the relevant insurance claims are being carried out in an orderly manner. At the same time, the first phase of Shanxi base will be put into production due to this accident and the progress of subsequent climbing will be affected to a certain extent. The company is making overall arrangements to adjust the production process and order deployment, and try its best to reduce or eliminate the impact on customer order delivery.

In the record sheet of investor relations activities in March this year, Jingke Energy responded to investors' questions that the first phase of the Shanxi large base project 14GW was scheduled to be put into production on March 26 this year, and the second phase of 14GW was expected to be put into production in the second quarter of this year, depending on the actual situation. "the comprehensive production advantage of Shanxi project is obvious. through the improvement of automation rate, intelligent production scheduling and integrated process connection, Shanxi base will have obvious advantages over existing production capacity in terms of operating costs. and achieve industry leadership in supply chain traceability, carbon footprint and other aspects."
According to the annual report, by the end of 2023, the vertical integration capacity of Jingke Energy has reached 85GW, 90GW and 110GW respectively in the three core sectors of silicon wafer, battery and module, with an integrated capacity matching rate of more than 85%.
In the section of the 2024 business plan in the annual report, Jingke Energy said that in 2024, the company will maintain a cautious pace of production expansion, giving priority to the landing of advantageous production capacity such as the Shanxi large base, while accelerating the elimination of backward production capacity. By the end of 2024, it is expected that the advanced production capacity of wafers, batteries and components will reach 120GW, 110GW and 130GW respectively. Among them, N-type production capacity will exceed 100GW. At the same time, strive to achieve 100GW-110GW 's annual shipping target. Among them, N-type shipments accounted for nearly 90%.
